Bringing Spiritual, Emotional & Physical Health to People's Lives

Welcome to my blog.

Monday Morning Recap

July 16, 2012

This weekend we had P.J Preston and his wife, Pam, here with us from Lynchburg, Virginia. PJ has been a great friend of mine and Matt’s for several years and we are excited to announce that he and his family will be moving to the Cleveland area at the end of July to join the C3 staff family!

We also celebrated with those who were taking their next steps in baptism with outdoor baptisms this weekend!

If you missed this weekend’s services, I encourage you to watch it here and listen to it here.

Also,if you were not at C3 this weekend, or if you would like to give your tithe or offering, you can give online by clicking here.

Now there were four men with leprosy at the entrance of the city gate. They said to each other, “Why stay here until we die? If we say, ‘We’ll go into the city’—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.” At dusk they got up and went to the camp of the Arameans. When they reached the edge of the camp, no one was there, for the Lord had caused the Arameans to hear the sound of chariots and horses and a great army, so that they said to one another, “Look, the king of Israel has hired the Hittite and Egyptian kings to attack us!” (2 Kings 7:3-6 NIV)

Let’s GO! – Acknowledge the call on your life & be obedient to the call.

#1 – Don’t let your present problems keep you from future success. You won’t always be in this situation.

#2 – If your life is at a standstill maybe it’s because you’re standing still! Stop standing at the gate!

“We’ll go into the city’—the famine is there, and we will die. And if we stay here, we will die. So let’s go over to the camp of the Arameans and surrender. If they spare us, we live; if they kill us, then we die.”

#3 – Going may cost you your life but staying may too!

“At dusk they got up and went to the camp of the Arameans.”

#4 – Going is always accompanied by a period of uncertainty. If God gave us all the details many of us would never go. Don’t let uncertainty turn to fear because fear will paralyze.

#5 – God will never put it in your heart to go if he hasn’t already prepared the way. (Pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night)

#6 – Your future & the future of others rests upon you NOW!
