Monday Morning Recap
March 26, 2012
This weekend was our Imagine Celebration Weekend! It was an incredible weekend as we came together as a church and gave our first fruit offerings for Imagine. Kids, students and adults all gave sacrificially. I love being part of a church that can Imagine together! Matt and I are so thankful for each and every one you of you and we know the best is yet to come!
Imagine is all about continuing to see life change happen as we trust God and continue to provide real hope for real people in a real world! Here is a great testimony video of lives that have been changed at C3…
If you missed this weekend’s message, I encourage you to watch it here and listen to it here. Also,if you were not at C3 this weekend, or if you would like to give your tithe or your Imagine first fruit offering, you can give online by clicking here.
Matthew 9:9, “As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at his tax collector’s booth. “Follow me and be my disciple,” Jesus said to him. So Matthew got up and followed him.
Matthew 9:10-13, “Later, Matthew invited Jesus and his disciples to his home as dinner guests, along with many tax collectors and other disreputable sinners. But when the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with such scum? When Jesus heard this, he said, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. Then he added, “Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: ‘I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices.’ For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”
THE NEED – We need to see the need.
Matthew 9:35-36, “Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. (NLT)
THE VISION – United together with a common vision.
Matthew 9:37-38, “He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. 38 So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”(NLT)
Matthew 18:19-20, ““I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. 20 For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.”(NLT)
